Sticking false eyelashes requires some patience and skill. Here are the detailed steps:
Prepare the materials: Besides false eyelashes, you need to prepare eyelash glue, tweezers, and an eyelash curler. It's also helpful to have a small pair of scissors on hand to trim the false eyelashes if needed.
Trim the false eyelashes: Take out the false eyelashes and compare them with the width of your own eyelids. Generally, false eyelashes are a bit longer than the actual width of the eyelids, so you need to use scissors to trim the excess part at both ends according to your eye shape and the width of the eyelids. Usually, a small section is cut off from the outer corner of the eye.
Curl your natural eyelashes: Use an eyelash curler to curl your natural eyelashes before applying false eyelashes. This can make the natural eyelashes blend better with the false eyelashes and make the eyes look more vivid. Place the eyelash curler at the root of the eyelashes and gently squeeze for a few seconds, then move the curler slightly up and squeeze again.
Apply eyelash glue: Squeeze an appropriate amount of eyelash glue onto the back of the false eyelash band. Make sure to apply the glue evenly along the entire band. It's better to apply a little more glue at both ends of the false eyelashes, as these parts are more likely to come off. After applying the glue, wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until the glue becomes slightly tacky. This will ensure a better adhesion.
Pick up the false eyelashes: Use tweezers to gently pick up the false eyelashes from the outer corner, with the curved side facing up. Be careful not to touch the part with glue to avoid affecting the adhesion effect.
Align and stick: Align the false eyelashes with the root of your natural eyelashes. Start from the inner corner of the eye and gradually stick them to the outer corner. Press gently with your fingers or the back of the tweezers to make the false eyelashes adhere firmly to the natural eyelashes and the eyelid skin. Make sure there are no gaps or wrinkles.
Adjust and fix: After sticking the false eyelashes, check if they are in the right position and if both eyes are symmetrical. If necessary, use tweezers to make some adjustments. Press the false eyelashes again to ensure they are firmly attached.
