The correct way to clip eyelashes

Clipping eyelashes should be done with great caution as improper operation can damage the eyelashes and eyes. Here is the correct way to clip eyelashes:

1. Prepare the tools: Select small, sharp, and clean eyebrow scissors or dedicated eyelash clippers. You can also prepare a comb for eyelashes.
2. Choose the right time and environment: It is recommended to do it when you are calm and have enough time, and the environment should be well-lit so that you can see clearly.
3. Clean the eyelashes: Before clipping, wash your face and clean your eyelashes to remove any dirt, oil, or mascara residue to avoid affecting the operation and prevent eye infections.
4. Comb the eyelashes: Use an eyelash comb to gently comb the eyelashes from the root to the tip to make them smooth and separate, and to identify the uneven or overly long eyelashes that need to be trimmed.
5. Start clipping: Tilt your head slightly back and look down at the mirror. Use your non-dominant hand to gently pull the skin at the outer corner of the eye to make the eyelashes stretch out. Then, use the scissors to carefully clip the overly long or uneven eyelashes. It is advisable to clip a little at a time to avoid cutting too much at once. Only trim the very tips of the eyelashes and avoid cutting too close to the root to prevent damage to the eyelash follicles.
6. Check and adjust: After clipping, comb the eyelashes again with the comb to check if there are any remaining uneven eyelashes and make further adjustments if necessary.
7. Clean up: After trimming, use a clean wet towel or cotton pad to gently wipe away any eyelash clippings around the eyes to prevent them from getting into the eyes.
