How to reuse false eyelashes

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to reuse false eyelashes:

1. Gentle Removal
   • Use a gentle eye makeup remover and soak a cotton pad with it. Place the soaked cotton pad over your closed eyes for 10-15 seconds to let the makeup remover break down the adhesive.
   • Use a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover to gently rub along the lash line to further dissolve the adhesive. Then, carefully lift the false eyelash from the outer corner and peel it off in a downward direction, being careful not to pull or damage the lashes.
2. Cleaning the Lashes
   • Use a pair of tweezers to hold the false lashes. Gently wipe off any visible makeup or glue residue on the lashes with a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover or rubbing alcohol. Make sure to clean both the lash fibers and the lash band.
   • If there is stubborn glue residue, you can use a small amount of olive oil or a dedicated lash glue remover on a cotton swab to carefully remove it. Be careful not to get any liquid on the lash fibers as it may cause them to become greasy or lose their shape.
3. Shaping and Reshaping
   • After cleaning, check if the lashes have lost their shape. If they are bent or misshapen, you can gently reshape them with your fingers or use a small lash curler to give them a slight curl. Be very gentle to avoid breaking the lashes.
4. Drying and Storage
   • Let the lashes air dry completely before storing them. Placing them on a clean, dry surface or hanging them up to dry is a good option.
   • Once dry, store the false eyelashes in their original case or a clean, dedicated lash storage container. Make sure to place them in a flat position to prevent them from getting crushed or damaged. Store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
5. Reapplication Preparation
   • Before reusing the false eyelashes, check them again for any remaining residue or damage. If there are any issues, address them before applying.
   • Apply a new coat of eyelash glue to the lash band and wait for a few seconds until the glue becomes tacky before applying the lashes to your lash line as you would with a new pair.
