The growth cycle of eyelashes consists of three stages: the anagen phase, the catagen phase, and the telogen phase. The following is an introduction to the duration of each stage and how long it generally takes for eyelashes to grow back:

Anagen phase: This is the active growth phase of the eyelashes. It typically lasts about 30 to 45 days. During this period, the eyelash follicles are actively dividing and producing new cells, causing the eyelashes to grow longer and thicker.

Catagen phase: After the anagen phase, the eyelashes enter the catagen phase, which is a transitional phase. It lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks. In this stage, the growth of the eyelashes slows down, and the follicles begin to shrink and detach from the dermal papilla.

Telogen phase: The telogen phase is the resting phase of the eyelashes and lasts approximately 3 to 4 months. At the end of this phase, the old eyelashes will naturally fall out, and new eyelashes will start to grow from the follicles, beginning a new growth cycle.

In general, it takes about 1 to 2 months for eyelashes to grow back to a relatively normal length after falling out, but the specific time may vary from person to person due to factors such as individual genetics, age, health status, and nutritional status.
