WELCOME TO LW LASHES!
The time it takes for eyelashes to restore to their original state after being cut can vary based on multiple factors, but generally, it follows a natural growth cycle:
Anagen Phase: This is the active growth phase of the eyelashes. During this period, which typically lasts about 30 - 45 days, the cells in the hair follicles divide rapidly, and the eyelashes grow in length. When you cut your eyelashes, they will start to regrow from this phase. However, the growth rate during this phase is relatively slow, with eyelashes growing at about 0.12 - 0.14mm per day.
Catagen Phase: After the anagen phase, the eyelashes enter the catagen phase, which is a transitional period. This phase lasts for about 2 - 3 weeks. During this time, the hair follicles shrink, and the growth of the eyelashes stops. The eyelashes are preparing to enter the next phase.
Telogen Phase: The telogen phase is the resting phase of the eyelashes. It lasts for about 90 - 100 days. At the end of this phase, the old eyelashes will fall out, and new ones will start to grow in their place. When you cut your eyelashes, the normal growth cycle is disrupted, but it will gradually resume its natural rhythm.Individual Variations: Everyone's body is different, and factors such as genetics, overall health, and hormonal balance can influence the growth rate of eyelashes. For example, people with a genetic predisposition to faster hair growth may find that their eyelashes restore more quickly. Those with a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet rich in vitamins (such as vitamin E, which promotes blood circulation to the follicles) and minerals, and regular exercise, may also experience faster lash regrowth. On the other hand, hormonal imbalances, such as those caused by thyroid disorders or certain medications, can slow down the growth process.
Eyelash Health Before Cutting: If your eyelashes were in a healthy condition before being cut, they are more likely to regrow at a normal rate. However, if the eyelashes were already damaged due to factors like over - use of mascara, improper removal of false eyelashes, or eye infections, the restoration time may be longer. Damaged hair follicles may take more time to recover and start producing new, healthy eyelashes.
