For Manual Eyelash Curlers

  1. Prepare Your Eyelashes: Before using the eyelash curler, make sure your eyelashes are clean and free of any mascara or other debris. This will ensure that the curler can grip the lashes properly and prevent any damage to the lashes.
  2. Position the Curler: Hold the eyelash curler with your thumb on the top handle and your index and middle fingers on the bottom handle. Open the curler and place it as close to the base of your eyelashes as possible without pinching your eyelid. The curler should be parallel to your eyelid.
  3. Squeeze Gently: Gently squeeze the handles of the eyelash curler together to clamp your eyelashes. Hold the curler in place for about 5-10 seconds. Be careful not to squeeze too hard, as this can cause your lashes to break or become misshapen.
  4. Move and Curl: After holding at the base, move the curler slightly towards the middle of your lashes and squeeze again for about 3-5 seconds. Then, move it to the tip of your lashes and give a final gentle squeeze for 2-3 seconds. This three-step curling method can create a more natural and long-lasting curl.
  5. Repeat on the Other Eye: Repeat the above steps for the other eye.

For Electric Eyelash Curlers

  1. Charge or Insert Batteries: If it's a rechargeable electric eyelash curler, make sure it's fully charged before use. If it uses batteries, insert the batteries correctly.
  2. Turn on the Curler: Press the power button to turn on the electric eyelash curler. Some curlers have temperature adjustment functions. You can adjust the temperature to a suitable level according to your eyelash condition and preference.
  3. Position and Curl: Similar to the manual curler, place the electric eyelash curler as close to the base of your eyelashes as possible. Gently hold the curler in place for about 8-12 seconds. The heat and vibration of the electric curler will help curl your lashes.
  4. Move and Finish: Slowly move the curler along the length of your lashes, spending a few seconds on each section to ensure even curling. Once you reach the tips of your lashes, you can turn off the curler and remove it.
  5. Clean and Store: After using the eyelash curler, whether it's manual or electric, clean it with a clean cloth to remove any residue or debris. Store it in a safe place to prevent damage.

Precautions

  • Don't Overdo It: Avoid curling your lashes repeatedly in a short period, as this can cause excessive stress on the lashes and lead to breakage or damage.
  • Replace Pads Regularly: For both manual and electric eyelash curlers, the rubber pads can wear out over time. Replace them regularly to ensure a good curling effect and to prevent your lashes from getting pinched or damaged.
  • Be Gentle: When using an eyelash curler, always be gentle. Don't force the curler or pull on your lashes, as this can cause them to fall out or become damaged.
