- Eyelash materials: Choose suitable eyelashes according to your eye shape and preference. Common types include natural fiber eyelashes, mink fur eyelashes, etc. Make sure the eyelashes are clean and free of debris.
- Eyelash glue: Select a high-quality eyelash glue that is safe for the eyes and has good viscosity. It's advisable to choose a glue that dries clear and has a relatively long drying time to allow for proper adjustment.
- Tools: Prepare a pair of fine-tipped tweezers and an eyelash curler. The tweezers should be sharp and precise to pick up and place the eyelashes accurately.
- Prepare your natural eyelashes: Start by thoroughly cleansing your face and eyes to remove any makeup, oil, or dirt. Use an eyelash curler to gently curl your natural eyelashes. This will not only make your natural eyelashes look better but also help the grafted eyelashes blend in more naturally.
- Test the eyelash length: Take out an eyelash and hold it against your eye to check if the length is suitable. If it's too long, you can trim it slightly with scissors. Generally, the length of the eyelashes at the outer corner of the eye can be a bit longer to create a more dramatic effect.
- Apply the glue: Squeeze a small amount of eyelash glue onto the back of your hand or a disposable glue tray. Use the tweezers to dip the root of the eyelash into the glue, ensuring that the entire root is evenly coated with a thin layer of glue. Avoid getting too much glue on the eyelash as it can cause clumping and make the application messy.
- Graft the eyelashes: Wait for about 10 - 15 seconds until the glue becomes slightly tacky. Then, starting from the outer corner of the eye, use the tweezers to carefully place the eyelash as close to the root of your natural eyelashes as possible. Gently press the eyelash in place and hold it for a few seconds to ensure it adheres well. Continue this process, working your way inward towards the inner corner of the eye, spacing the eyelashes evenly.
- Adjust and fix: After all the eyelashes are grafted, check if there are any that are not properly attached or are crooked. Use the tweezers to make any necessary adjustments. If there are any gaps or sparse areas, you can add additional eyelashes to make the effect more natural and full.
- Do a patch test before using the eyelash glue to check for any allergic reactions.
- Be very careful when using tweezers to avoid poking your eyes.
- Don't graft too many eyelashes at once, as this can put excessive burden on your natural eyelashes and cause them to fall out.
- If you encounter difficulties or are not satisfied with the effect, it's best to consult a professional beautician instead of attempting to correct it forcefully on your own.
