Preparation Before Grafting

  • Material and Tool Selection
    • Eyelashes: Choose high-quality mink fur eyelashes. Consider factors such as the softness, thickness, and length of the lashes to ensure they suit the client's eye shape and natural lash condition.
    • Adhesive: Select an adhesive that is safe, has good viscosity, and is suitable for eyelash grafting. Ensure it is hypoallergenic to reduce the risk of eye irritation or allergic reactions.
    • Tools: Prepare professional eyelash grafting tweezers, which should be sharp and have good grip for easy operation. Also, have a clean mascara wand or comb to separate and shape the natural eyelashes.
  • Eye Area Cleaning
    • Remove Makeup: Thoroughly remove all eye makeup, including mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow, using a gentle eye makeup remover. This ensures that there is no residue on the eyelids and eyelashes that could affect the adhesion of the mink fur eyelashes.
    • Clean the Eyelids: Use a mild cleanser to clean the eyelids and surrounding skin. After cleaning, pat dry with a clean towel to keep the eye area clean and dry.

Grafting Operation

  • Isolation of Natural Eyelashes
    • Use Eye Pads: Place eye pads under the lower lashes to prevent the adhesive from getting on the lower eyelids and eyes. Then, use a small comb or brush to gently separate and lift the natural eyelashes, making them easier to work with.
  • Picking and Dipping the Eyelashes
    • Pick the Eyelash: Use tweezers to pick up a single mink fur eyelash from the lash strip. Hold the lash at the base for better control.
    • Dip in Adhesive: Dip the root of the mink fur eyelash into the adhesive. The amount of adhesive should be 适中. Too much adhesive may cause clumping and make the eyelashes look unnatural, while too little may result in poor adhesion.
  • Grafting Positioning
    • Find the Attachment Point: Identify the base of the natural eyelash, about 1-2 mm away from the eyelid skin. This is the optimal position for grafting to ensure comfort and durability.
    • Attach the Eyelash: Gently place the mink fur eyelash onto the natural eyelash at the selected position, making sure it is parallel to the natural lash and adheres well. Press gently for a few seconds to ensure good adhesion.
  • Overall Shaping
    • Check the Spacing: After grafting several lashes, check the spacing to ensure they are evenly distributed and look natural. Adjust the position of the lashes if necessary.
    • Shape the Eyelashes: Use a comb or brush to gently shape the grafted eyelashes, making them more orderly and in line with the desired curl and direction.

Post-Grafting Care

  • Avoid Contact with Water: Instruct the client to avoid getting the eyes wet for at least 24 hours after grafting to allow the adhesive to dry and set completely.
  • No Rubbing the Eyes: Advise the client not to rub or pull the eyes to prevent the mink fur eyelashes from falling off prematurely.
  • Regular Cleaning: After a few days, the client can gently clean the eye area with a mild cleanser, being careful not to directly touch the grafted eyelashes. Use a clean, damp cotton swab to gently wipe away any dirt or oil around the eyes.
