Preparation

  • Materials and Tools: Select high-quality mink single eyelashes, which should be soft, glossy and have a natural curl. Choose a special eyelash glue that is highly adhesive, long-lasting and non-irritating to the skin around the eyes. Prepare a pair of fine tweezers for picking up and adjusting the eyelashes, and a small pair of scissors for trimming the length and shape of the eyelashes.
  • Eye Cleaning: Use a mild eye makeup remover to thoroughly clean the eyes, removing oil and dirt around the eyes and on the eyelashes. Then, dip a clean cotton swab in a small amount of normal saline and gently wipe the roots of the eyelashes to further clean and disinfect them.

Grafting Process

  • Measurement and Trimming: Place the mink eyelash under the eye and measure and trim it according to your eye shape and the length of your natural eyelashes. Generally, the length of the lower eyelashes should not be too long. It is advisable to start trimming from both ends to make the length of the eyelashes match the length of the eyes and trim out a natural arc. For upper eyelashes, choose an appropriate length according to personal preference and the overall makeup effect.
  • Glue Application: Use tweezers to pick up a single mink eyelash and dip the root of the eyelash in an appropriate amount of glue. Make sure not to use too much glue to avoid overflow. Then, wait for the glue to become slightly dry for about 5 to 10 seconds. When the glue becomes viscous but not completely dry, it is the best time for pasting.
  • Eyelash Pasting: Gently pick up the mink eyelash with glue using tweezers and align its root with the root of the natural eyelash. Start from the outer corner of the eye and paste them one by one along the growth direction of the natural eyelashes. For upper eyelashes, paste from the inner corner to the outer corner. When pasting, try to be as close as possible to the root of the natural eyelashes without touching the eyelid to avoid glue irritating the skin. Press each eyelash gently with tweezers for a few seconds to ensure it is firmly attached.
  • Adjustment and Fixing: After pasting all the eyelashes, use tweezers to make final adjustments and fixings. Check if the eyelashes are firmly attached, in the correct position and of even length. If necessary, make timely adjustments. Gently comb the eyelashes with tweezers to make them look more natural and tidy.

Post-Grafting Care

  • Avoid Water: Try to avoid getting the eyelashes wet within 4 to 6 hours after grafting to prevent the glue from losing its viscosity and causing the eyelashes to fall off. When washing your face, gently wipe the area around the eyes with a wet towel, avoiding the eyelash area.
  • No Rubbing: Avoid rubbing your eyes before the eyelashes are completely fixed to prevent damaging the pasting effect. Even after the eyelashes are fixed, be gentle with your eyes and avoid rubbing or pulling them hard.
  • Regular Combing: Gently comb the grafted eyelashes with an eyelash comb every day to make them neater and more natural. This can also promote blood circulation in the eyelashes, helping them grow and stay healthy.
