WELCOME TO LW LASHES!
To remove the glue used to stick false eyelashes, you can follow these methods:
Oil-based Makeup Removers: Soak a cotton pad with an oil-based makeup remover like olive oil, coconut oil or a commercial oil-based remover. Gently press the soaked cotton pad onto the false eyelashes and hold it there for about 1-2 minutes. The oil will help break down the glue. Then, use a gentle rubbing motion to slowly peel off the false eyelashes. After removing the lashes, wipe away any remaining glue on the eyelid with the cotton pad.
Micellar Water: Micellar water is another effective option. Saturate a cotton pad with micellar water and place it on the false eyelashes for a minute or two. The micelles in the water will attach to the glue and dirt, making it easier to remove. Gently rub the cotton pad over the lashes to dissolve the glue and then peel off the lashes.
Professional Eyelash Glue Removers: There are special eyelash glue removers available in the market. These are formulated to quickly and effectively dissolve lash glue without causing damage to the natural lashes or the skin. Apply a small amount of the remover to a cotton swab or pad and gently dab it on the lash line and the base of the false eyelashes. Wait for the recommended time (usually 30 seconds to 1 minute) and then carefully peel off the lashes.
Acetone-free Nail Polish Remover: Acetone-free nail polish remover can also be used to remove lash glue. Soak a cotton pad with the remover and hold it against the false eyelashes for a short time until the glue softens. Then, gently pull off the lashes. However, be cautious as some nail polish removers may contain ingredients that could irritate the eyes, so it's advisable to do a patch test first.
Warm Compress: Soak a clean washcloth in warm water and wring out the excess. Place the warm washcloth over your closed eyes for a few minutes. The heat and moisture can help soften the glue, making it easier to remove the false eyelashes. After applying the warm compress, you can try to gently peel off the lashes or use a cotton swab to gently wipe away any remaining glue.
Baby Oil: Put a small amount of baby oil on a cotton pad and apply it to the false eyelashes and the glue area. Let it sit for a while to break down the glue and then carefully remove the lashes. Wipe off any remaining oil and glue residue with a clean, damp cloth.
