WELCOME TO LW LASHES!
If the false eyelash glue has dried out, there are several solutions you can try, depending on the type of glue and the extent of drying. Here are some common methods:
Adding Water: If it's a water-based false eyelash glue that has dried out, you can try adding a few drops of clean water to the glue container. Then, gently stir the glue with a clean stick or toothpick to mix the water in. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the water to fully penetrate and rehydrate the glue. After that, test the glue's consistency and stickiness. If it's still too thick, you can add a little more water, but be careful not to add too much, as this can make the glue too runny and less effective.
Soaking the Container: Another option is to soak the glue container in a bowl of warm water for about 10-15 minutes. The heat from the water can help soften the dried glue. Make sure the water doesn't get into the glue container. After soaking, take out the container and check if the glue has become more pliable. If needed, you can still add a small amount of water and stir as described above.
Using Glue Thinner or Solvent: Some false eyelash glues come with a dedicated thinner or solvent. If you have such a product, add a few drops of the thinner to the dried glue and stir gently. The thinner is designed to break down the dried glue and restore its original consistency. Follow the instructions on the thinner product carefully to avoid using too much.
Using Nail Polish Remover (Acetone-Free): In some cases, acetone-free nail polish remover can be used to revive dried false eyelash glue. Add a very small amount of nail polish remover to the glue and stir. Acetone can damage the glue and make it less sticky, so it's crucial to use an acetone-free variety. Test a small amount first to see if it works and doesn't affect the glue's performance.
Check the Expiry Date: Before attempting to revive the glue, check its expiry date. If the glue is past its expiration date, it may not work well even if you manage to rehydrate it, and it could also cause skin irritation or other problems.
Test the Glue: After trying to restore the glue, always test it on a small patch of skin, such as the inside of your wrist, to make sure it doesn't cause any allergic reactions or adverse effects. Wait for at least 24 hours to see if there is any redness, itching, or swelling.
Proper Storage: To prevent the false eyelash glue from drying out in the future, make sure to keep the glue container tightly closed when not in use and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
